ABOUT US

Joanna Kim is a Korean American who spent most of her life in New York. After establishing a successful business in New York City, she and her husband decided they wanted a more rural environment to raise their children, so they moved to northwestern New Jersey.

The Kims became familiar with the benefits of private education when their daughters attended a private school. Understanding that in Korean, parents feel strongly that their children need to lean the English language, and recognizing the growing trend of Korean families sending their children to be educated in the USA, the Kims started a new, fulfilling career with the launch of School Life USA.

School Life USA prides itself on the personal attention it pays to its students. All applications are carefully reviewed and special consideration is given to each individual student's academic requirements and personal preferences. Students are then matched with accredited private schools and placed with host families who will help and encourage them to get the most of their American educational and cultural experience. Joanna and her small dedicated staff maintain personal contact with each student, their school, host family, and parents in Korea.
